Kurt Zouma set for lengthy lay-off after sustaining nasty injury during Chelsea-Man United

Chelsea’s French defender looks set for a very lengthy lay-off after picking up a nasty injury in the Blues game with Manchester United on Sunday.

Ten minutes into the second half, Zouma went to win a high ball on the halfway line but appeared to jump too far and landed very awkwardly on his right knee.
Chelsea’s home match with Manchester United was held up for four minutes whilst Zouma was treated. He was replaced by Gary Cahill and stretchered off.
Zouma’s loss is a big one for Chelsea, with the French defender becoming a key player this season with both Cahill and John Terry showing their age somewhat.
Unknown USA defender Matt Miazga is now third choice centre back at Chelsea.
Makes you wonder if Chelsea might want to sign up John Terry for another season!
