Again Two Lions Sneak out of Kenyan Nairobi National Park

Two lions have wandered out of Nairobi National Park a week after six made it out, sparking panic, world attention and hilarious commentary on social media.

The two roamed out of the park on Monday and were spotted in Ngong road forest along the Southern Bypass, said KWS communications officer Paul Udoto.
In a statement on Monday, Udoto said the lions were walking near the fence of the forest block between the intersection towards Karen and the southern Bypass next to the Kenya Forest Service field station.
He said a Kenya Wildlife Services team was dispatched after traffic officers sighted the lions at about 10am.
Photographs of lions walking and playing on Kenya's roads resurfaced when the pride of six got out of the park on February 22 to a settlement area in Lang'ata along the Southern bypass. KWS said they were all found.
"Only in Kenya", many social media users wrote, but Udoto said the park has been under pressure from developments as well as the ever increasing population.
Companies jumped at the opportunity to advertise, Kenya Commercial Bank saying customers have to be found at their locations if they will not go to service providers.
A marketing-savvy RMA Motors Kenya executive lost no time advertising their vehicles with the message: “If you spot a Lion, contact KWS, if you spot a Jaguar, it probably got loose from the RMA showroom. Contact us”.
Udoto asked the public to report any information on the two lions via toll free line number 0800 597 000 or email communications@kws.go.ke.
