Saturday was a momentous day for Fernando Torres.
Torres, who is out of contract at the end of the season at Atletico and is nailed-on to leave the club at that point, today scored his 100th goal for the Rojiblancos.
Torres scored Atleti’s third in a 3-1 home win over Eibar.
The goal was relatively simple, as El Nino turned home a cross from the left.
Perhaps just as enjoyable as seeing Torres become a centurion for Atleti was Diego Simeone’s emotional celebration on the sidelines.
