Lang’ata residents have a reason to fear for their lives this morning as not one but six of nature’s most fierce man eaters are out and about after escaping the watchful eye of Kenya Wildlife Services.

The ‘jail breakers’ are reported to have sneaked out of Nairobi National Park. According to Communications officer Paul Udoto the animals have boundaries but on Friday roamed to a settlement area in Lang’ata along the Southern bypass.
The communications officer while speaking to the Star, also revealed that the lions usually roam up to Kitengela area, acknowledging that “people have decided to settle in the wildlife corridor”.
There is an ongoing search and rescue mission by officers, the lions were last spotted at the National Housing Corporation houses.
You may contact KWS through; 0800 597 000 and 0800 221 5566, if you spot the animals.
